Blog Post Assignment 9

This year I have been taking AP Language and Composition course. Everything I learned in this class was very important to me. This course taught me a lot in one year. I learning how to write different papers such as a research paper, synthesis paper, and rhetorical analysis.  When I first got an AP language and composition I thought it was going to be hard. I struggled the whole time while taking this class. This course has certainly showed me what I need to work on but have also help me on the AP exam. I was well prepared for my AP exam when the day arrive. If I would take this course over again I would definitely do so because I can master whatever I lacked on.

ACT Reflection

 The ACT was not that hard like people said it would be. It was challenging to me. The section that I struggled with the most is the science portion. Once I started the science portion it was easy but as I was going to continue it got really read harder and confusing. B.C. Rain was trying to prepare us at first but it seem as they did not care if we passed or not. I know that my class did learn anything during ACT prep or they did not teach anything. I feel that students had to prep their self on their own.
   The testing environment was very cold. The students was good but two  students got put out because they had their phones. It was very quiet environment. Some students was sleep during the test. I think I made at least a 20. I was good with timing. At the last couple minutes and the last couple questions I just start putting anything. My teacher told me to never leave anything blank. I prepare myself a little bit but not a lot.

The American Dream

The American Dream is every American is equal. Everyone has equal opportunity to fulfill their dream through hard work. The American Dream is important to many people and can mean something different to each person. My American Dream is to become a nurse. I have very high standards that I want to reach in the future. I told myself that when I turn 25, I am going to have a house, a husband and a good job working in a hospital. Some famous people have already achieved their American Dream.

Good Deed

Over this Easter weekend my good deed could have been to feed the homeless. I love to help the homeless out because I would want someone to help me if I was homeless. By helping the homeless I know that I will get a blessing from God. Doing a good deed is a awesome thing to do. I like helping the homeless because it make them seem special. Homeless people are here for people to care about them and helping get back on their feet. When they get on their feet , they will help the others.

Letter to the Governor

Dear Governor Bentley,

I know you might not see this because you are a very busy and hardworking man but I might have a suggestion dealing with Jefferson and for his death role case.  My name is Mary Ann Tucker. I am a Registered Nurse. I am 23 years old, married to Lorenzo Tucker.  We have one child together. I attended the University of South Alabama where I earned my master degree in nursing. I was born in Mobile, Alabama and attended Ben. C. Rain High School.

I met Jefferson in a store one day I came back on break from college. Jefferson ask do I  need help.  Jefferson helped me find what I needed it. Jefferson went to school with me when we was younger. We did not notice it until he call my nickname out. He was my best friend then we just stop talking when I went to college.

Three years later, I saw the news. Jefferson was being convicted of a triple homicide. I saw the verdict was  guilty and he was put on death role. I think Jefferson should not be killed. I know Jefferson, he would never kill anyone because he is a people person. He love been around people. Jefferson might was in the wrong place at the wrong time. In my opinion I do not like the death penalty because they might not have enough evidence. Jefferson have a good personality and I know for a fact he would not dare kill anyone.
